Updates the role of a workspace member. Requires the write scope.

Returns the member with its updated role.

401

The request did not include a valid OAuth 2.0 access token.

403

The access token lacks the write scope required to update a member's role, or the request asked for the owner role, which is not assignable through the API. Owners are promoted from the Scribee interface.

404

No membership exists with the given id, or it belongs to a workspace the access token's OAuth application is not linked to.

422

The role payload failed validation. The response body's error field is unprocessable_entity and details reports the invalid role value.
